Danielle Eze Art
Danielle Eze
I have been making art my whole life but have only recently begun focusing on pursuing an abstract art career full time.

I am a passionate person who pours her energy into all of her pursuits, whether earning multiple graduate degrees while working full time or competing in endurance sports such as marathons, centuries, and ironman races.

I feel a strong connection to nature and prefer to create all of my art outdoors. While most of my work is abstract with many mediums, it is often clear which elements of nature influenced me during creation.

More personally, I am a strong advocate for lgbt rights, equal access to financial literacy for young people, traveling and experiencing as much of the world as possible, and pursuing minimalism in my home life but embracing boldness and immersion in my art.

In 2024, I took a month to drive across America and settle in San Diego, CA. I frequent local and regional art shows in the area as well as some on the east coast. Follow me or subscribe to find out where I'll be next.
My Story
From a young age, artistic expression has been a foundational part of who I am. I was always creating something new, whether sketching a self portrait, designing and sewing my own clothing, or putting on dramatic performances for family and friends. After an early introduction by my aunt, a sculptor and sketch artist, I began exploring drawing, sculpting, and painting more seriously.
My art took a transformative turn into the more abstract after I was diagnosed with cancer at 23. I had such intense emotions and a sudden confrontation with my own mortality. I needed a powerful outlet for emotional expression. Since then, my painting has served as a therapeutic and cathartic form of emotional expression, especially during the highest and lowest points of my life, allowing me to channel intense feelings into vibrant, abstract creations. In addition to painting, I embrace my connection to nature through photography, capturing serene moments that bring me peace. My painting is wild and loud, while my photography seeks calmness, creating a harmonious balance.
